- Millet is glutenous in nature, so it is advisable to soak it in water for 1/2 hour before cooking.
- Heat water to a rolling boil in a pan, add salt(optional).
- Strain the millets and add to the boiling water and cook it on low flame.
- Once the grain is cooked, gently fluff it with a spatula.
